Toyota Prius recalls 2010, Toyota recall January 2010 will affect car giant's future. Amidst huge worries of diminishing reputation, Toyota has been largely criticized by analysts across the world for its snugging approach in communicating with consumers.

Appearing to add more worries for Toyota, which has already recalled more than eight million cars form the U.S.A and UK, a possible recall on its millions of highly-marketing hybrid cars, Prius in Japan is looming.

In the meanwhile, Akio Toyoa, President of the Japanese car maker and grandson of its founder said that the company would set up a special quality-control task force to meet issues like this in the future. He once again regretted the consumers for the concerns.

"The fact that we have caused such concern is a cause of regret for us," Toyoda said.

Analysts advise Toyota to be more clear and concise not to make more ambiguity among the consumers. With its slow phase in communicating the problems and issues to the public, things are becoming worse for Toyota. Now, it will have to carry out a lot effort to retain its tarnished image among the consumers worldwide.

An IHS Global analysis said that Toyota had a name for its rock-solid and reliable quality and safety regards, but the ongoing episode will surely make a negative image of Toyota. Its reputation will be tarnished so as to result in less sales and resale value.

Toyota would have taken the issue with some more seriousness. Mike Rozembajgier, director of recalls at ExpertRecall, a recall logistics and compliance consultancy said that there should be three goals for each recall; to protect public, protect the band name and finally to fix the thing as quick as possible.

Mike, who said that Toyota had failed to execute these three basic goals of recall, commented Toyota would have largely used various media outlets to "over-communicate" with its consumers and investors soon after the decision to recall.
